The first time I heard Fred was at a 4-H Awards Banquet at the Dovercourt Hall. I was impressed by his performance and the content of his poetry. I told him that some of his peoms would make good songs, he said "Go ahead", so I did. he invited me to my first Cowboy Spout at Condor, AB, way back when. Thanks for the start Fred.
