Why traditional minimums don't work for cafés

One of the biggest pain points we hear from coffee shops and operators is that traditional minimums are just too high. Small back rooms, fluctuating demand, seasonal traffic, and limited cash flow make it hard to commit to massive inventory orders.

There's a reason those minimums exist. Custom printing has real setup costs, and spreading them across a huge run is the easy way to make the math work. The problem is that it makes the supplier's math work, not yours. A 50,000-cup order is a great deal right up until you're storing 45,000 of them for a year.

How low minimums work at Earth Store

We start at 5000 units, so you can put your brand on a cup without betting a quarter's cash flow on it. Need a smaller run to test a design? No problem. Want to reorder more often in smaller batches instead of once a year? That works too.

If you're printing custom cups for the first time, a smaller first run is also just smarter. You get to see how your artwork actually reads on a cup, in a customer's hand, before you commit to volume.

Inventory stored and shipped as you need it

Low minimums solve the order size. Warehousing solves the storage. We hold your inventory and ship it out as you need it, which means the size of your order stops being limited by the size of your back room. Order at a volume that makes sense, then pull from it on your own schedule.

That combination is the point. Sustainable packaging shouldn't require operators to overbuy, overspend, or overcrowd their spaces.
